In which industries are PRG agitators used?

PRG Präzisions-Rührer GmbH from Warburg is a well-known manufacturer of innovative mixing technology and has more than 35 years of experience in this field. PRG manufactures agitators for almost all applications in the food, beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Over the years, PRG has continuously expanded its product range and strengthened its focus particularly in mixing technology for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. PRG manufactures complex agitation systems for sterile applications involving liquid medicines, ointments and lotions. This primarily includes magnetic agitators and propeller agitators, optionally also in ATEX design.

In the food sector (dairy products, beverages, sauces or baby food), PRG produces slow-speed gear agitators with paddle or propeller blades for installation in the bottom, cylindrical shell or top of the mixing vessel. This also includes U-Z agitators, which – similar to paddle agitators – are widely used in the beverage and fruit juice industry sectors.

PRG also manufactures customized agitators for customers in the chemical industry. This ranges from simple propeller agitators for low-viscosity media and jet mixers for medium-viscosity applications to coaxial agitators for highly viscous media such as adhesives or coatings.
