          Industrial centrifuges and separators separate substance mixtures using centrifugal force — at separation factors that exceed gravity-based methods by several orders of magnitude. This enables clarification, concentration, deoiling and solid-liquid separation even where density differences can hardly be exploited under normal gravity. In the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries they are the standard tool for high purity requirements, continuous throughput and reproducible separation sharpness.

          Our stock covers the four most important industrial designs: disc separators for continuous clarification and liquid-liquid separation, peeler centrifuges for high-purity solids in batch production, inverting filter centrifuges for oxidation-sensitive or product-sensitive pharmaceutical actives, and centrifugal separators for clarification applications.           In the rotating disc stack, liquid-liquid systems or solid-bearing suspensions are continuously separated.           Our stock comprises the four industrially relevant designs: disc separators (Alfa Laval), inverting filter centrifuges (Heinkel), centrifugal separators (Pieralisi) and peeler centrifuges (Krauss-Maffei). Almost all units come from well-known European brand manufacturers and were operated until decommissioning by reputable companies in Germany.

          Separator in the narrower sense is a collective term for continuously operating clarification and separation centrifuges — typically disc separators or centrifugal separators. Centrifuge is the umbrella term and additionally covers batch designs such as peeler centrifuges and inverting filter centrifuges, which separate high-purity solids in batch operation.

          A disc separator is the right choice when you need to continuously clarify large volume flows, deoil them or separate two liquid phases — at low to medium solid content. Classic applications: pharmaceutical water clarification, edible oil processing, deoiling of aqueous systems, cream and skim milk separation.

          The inverting filter centrifuge is the standard design for high-purity solid separation in pharmaceutical and fine chemical applications. During inversion, the filter bag is turned inside out — the filter cake is discharged contamination-free, with no residual content in the filter medium. Often executed in inertised configuration for oxidation-sensitive actives.

          Used industrial centrifuges are available immediately from stock, considerably more affordable than comparable new equipment and reduce investment risk for design questions. Since the units come from active production lines, material grade, documentation and spare parts availability are given. Existing units stay in service rather than being newly built — materials and drive components remain in the industrial cycle.

          The key points are separation factor (G-value), drum or disc material, vibration behaviour, available documentation and ATEX zone — depending on product and industry. In pharmaceutical applications in particular, validation documentation and inertisation connections should be checked. We share all available datasheets, pictures and unit history for every machine.
