A vacuum homogenizer mixer combines several process steps inside a jacketed, vacuum-rated process vessel. A slow-running anchor or counter-rotating sweep agitator transports the product along the vessel wall and prevents fouling. A high-speed rotor-stator unit mounted at the vessel bottom — or as an inline aggregate — emulsifies and finely disperses the product in the same operation. The vacuum deaerates the batch, which is critical for air-sensitive creams, ointments and pharmaceutical actives.
Larger plants are often configured as a combination of a pre-mix vessel, main mixing vessel and vacuum system. Heating and cooling are handled via the jacket or a half-pipe coil — from ambient water temperature well above 100 °C. Many units feature CIP-compatible design, frequency-controlled drives and ATEX execution for solvent-based products.

Our company has been sourcing brand-new vessels from Behälter KG in Bremen for many years. The product quality, price level and the very large in-stock selection of vessels continue to impress us time and again. We look forward to many more years of business together, especially the upcoming major project!
