For over 60 years, Behälter KG has been providing tailored solutions in the field of vessels, tanks and process equipment – combining trading, manufacturing and technical consulting. From our warehouse inventory, we deliver at short notice throughout Europe over 2,500 vessels in virtually all sizes and configurations – in clearly calculable quality.
Since 1965, our headquarters have been located in the Hanseatic trading city of Bremen. As a company, the Hanseatic virtues of an honorable merchant are deeply rooted in our values – commitment, reliability, integrity & social responsibility.
Our customers include medium-sized companies, corporations and plant constructors from Germany, Europe and beyond. Our industrial focus lies in the areas of chemicals and pharmaceuticals as well as food and beverages.

Behälter KG offers on a 20,000+ sqm site over 2,500 used & factory-new stainless steel vessels available for immediate delivery. This includes industrial vessels in virtually all sizes and represents one of the largest warehouse inventories in this segment across Europe.
Used vessels undergo a thorough inspection already at the time of acquisition, ensuring the quality of our inventory. Material analysis with an X-ray spectrometer and wall thickness measurement with ultrasonic testing are key parameters for a sound purchasing decision in the used vessel segment.
We are happy to offer you additional services, such as overseas transports, on-site installations or the preparation of structural calculations.
Sell us your surplus stainless steel vessels, storage tanks, IBCs or related process equipment. We have deep expertise in the acquisition of used stainless steel vessels & equipment and can offer you our assistance even at short notice in the utilization of these assets. We purchase individual units as well as complete tank farms or production facilities.
A trade-in of used vessels can also be arranged, where our customers source tailored vessels from us while we take over the surplus old vessels from a single source.
