Where are BLEFA IBC containers used and what distinguishes them?
BLEFA, based in Kreuztal (NRW), was for many years a well-known manufacturer of stainless steel IBC containers. Stainless steel IBCs are primarily used wherever material resistance, hygiene, and a robust design are decisive—for example in the , as well as in related fields such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or food, depending on equipment and specification.

Historically relevant: The IBC business division of BLEFA was sold to Schäfer Werke in 2003. IBC production was subsequently continued under Schäfer or via Schäfer Sudex. The BLEFA brand that still exists today is particularly known for stainless steel kegs in the beverage industry. Regardless of this, BLEFA IBC containers are still in use in many operations and are often reused as a durable stainless steel solution.
