Not necessarily – used equipment and tanks are acquired from decommissioned plants where they were in operation until recently. At our warehouse, all equipment is professionally inspected, including material testing (AISI304/AISI316/AISI316Ti), wall thickness measurement and corrosion assessment. A precise description is then prepared, detailing the material, condition and prior media compatibility. A high-quality used vessel made of AISI304 or AISI316 stainless steel can be just as technically reliable as a new one after professional refurbishment – at a significantly lower price.

If required, we offer modifications and customisations – e.g. additional connections, a suitable agitator, a heating or cooling jacket, ATEX-compliant equipment or special surface treatment. Many customers carry out minor modifications themselves; for larger modifications we cooperate with specialised equipment manufacturers who will provide an individual quotation for your project.

Our online catalogue can be filtered by volume, material, features and many other criteria. The available stock is updated daily, so you can rely on product availability. We are also happy to advise you personally and recommend suitable equipment for your project.

Many of our stainless steel equipment items come directly from the chemical industry and process engineering and were manufactured for use with acids, alkalis and solvents – typically from V4A stainless steel (1.4404) or higher-grade special alloys. For each used vessel we document the exact previous application, material and pressure rating, so you can quickly determine whether the vessel is suitable for your project. On request, we provide an inspection report of the interior surfaces including corrosion assessment.

No statutory warranty is offered on used goods. However, our customers can rely on our goodwill support in the event of problems: Should an issue arise, we will assist you with the resulting costs or offer a return or exchange of the vessel. For an additional charge, we can also carry out a surface inspection of the interior on the customer's behalf, to proactively rule out potential risks.

Our pressure vessels for the chemical industry are manufactured in accordance with common European standards, including PED (Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU) and AD 2000. For use in potentially explosive atmospheres we offer ATEX-compliant versions (Directive 2014/34/EU). All relevant test certificates and documentation are – where available – supplied with the vessel.

In-stock equipment and reactors are typically ready for dispatch within a few working days. The actual delivery time depends on the destination, the chosen transport method (truck, sea freight, special transport) and any modification work.
