Metenova AB is a manufacturer of sterile magnetic stirrers, founded in Sweden in 2009. Metenova specializes in demanding mixing processes in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

The patented magnetic stirring technology from Metenova was specifically developed for sterile applications and is used in sensitive areas such as the production of biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, and high-purity liquids. Thanks to unique designs like the levitating stirrer technology, Metenova agitators  provide a contactless, low-maintenance solution that virtually eliminates contamination.

Metenova offers over seven different versions of magnetic stirrers, each differing in the design of the stirring element. Depending on the composition and design, higher shear forces (high-shear mixers) or lower shear forces (low-shear mixers) can be used for mixing in the product space.

For chemical applications involving more aggressive media, Metenova also offers polypropylene (PP) magnetic stirrers.
