1,000-liter mixing tank with anchor agitator and jet mixer for food

In 2025, two custom 1,000-liter mixing vessels were manufactured for an international food producer. To meet the customer’s specific mixing duty, a center-mounted 3 kW anchor agitator was installed in combination with an off-center 7.5 kW jet-flow mixer. For ease of operation, the vessels were designed with two hinged lids and equipped with a CIP (clean-in-place) system for automated cleaning. The mixing vessels, made of stainless steel 316 (1.4404), were rated for media up to 1.3 kg/L and meet a surface roughness of Ra > 0.5 µm.
