Buying a 10 cbm stainless steel vessel
A 10,000 liter stainless steel vessel is an ideal solution for industrial storage and processing of large volumes of liquids. Due to their size, these vessels are usually installed in a fixed position with permanent piping and are part of a production plant.
Areas of application & industries
10,000 liter tanks are used in numerous industries: in food production for dairy products, water, oils or fruit preparations, as well as in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors for raw materials such as solvents, fats, additives, paints or even wastewater.
Designs & materials
Industrial vessels of this size are available in various stainless steel grades – common stainless steel 304 and stainless steel 316 alloys can be selected depending on project requirements. Typically, 10,000 liter vessels are manufactured in a cylindrical, vertical design. However, for low ceiling heights, rectangular storage tanks or horizontal cylindrical variants also exist.
Possible additional equipment
Many vessels are equipped with heating and cooling jackets, agitators, suitable outlet fittings or safety valves. These ensure safe and process-optimized operation – even with demanding media.

Additionally, Behälter KG offers factory-new 10,000 liter stainless steel vessels from stock. These are immediately available and often feature polished weld seams for food-grade applications. Upon request, we also manufacture factory-new tanks exactly according to your specifications.

Thanks to known previous uses, such as fruit juice concentrates, glucose or caustic concentrates, the suitability for new applications can be assessed quickly.
Available alloys
The tanks are available in all common stainless steel grades, e.g. 1.4301, 1.4404 or 1.4571 – ideal for different media and process requirements.
