FLUID Misch & Dispergiertechnik GmbH is a leading supplier of innovative agitation and mixing technologies based in Lörrach. The company was founded in 1982 and is now part of the Ekato Group. For many years, FLUID has been developing high-precision agitators for demanding applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food industries.

Within the Ekato Group, FLUID focuses in particular on advanced industrial agitators for atmospheric applications and operating pressures up to a maximum of 12 bar. This includes applications in the chemical sector such as paints & coatings, plastics, mineral oils and basic chemicals. FLUID also offers suitable solutions for hazardous areas thanks to available ATEX certification. FLUID primarily manufactures agitators in stainless steel, although materials such as titanium or Hastelloy can also be used.

FLUID also provides versatile mixing technology for the food, water and beverage sectors. This includes side-entry agitators for lateral installation in larger storage tanks as well as high-speed mixers and geared agitators for installation on the top head of a mixing vessel.

In the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and biotech sectors, FLUID likewise offers extensive solutions — both for small laboratory scale and for larger product and raw material tanks with required shaft lengths of up to 6700 mm. For increased hygiene requirements, FLUID agitators can also be supplied with polished or ground surface finishes.
