ATEC, based in Sörup (northern Germany) has established itself in recent years as one of the leading plant manufacturers in the sterile pharmaceutical equipment industry. The company was founded in 1996 and has since acquired patents and personnel from the formerly well-known pharmaceutical plant manufacturer SMEJA. ATEC Pharmatechnik designs, validates, and manufactures bioreactors, fermenters, and process vessels from 10 liters to over 10,000 liters in highly sterile designs. Each vessel is custom-made with magnetic stirrers, sight glasses, sterile filters, and other common pharmaceutical equipment, and, if necessary, is delivered with a surface finish of less than 0.4μm (electropolished). ATEC also offers custom CIP & SIP systems suitable for the qualified cleaning of product vessels.
ATEC differentiates itself from the competition by its exclusive focus on pharmaceutical plant and vessel construction. Manufacturing is carried out according to all internationally recognized guidelines such as ASME or PED, for which ATEC holds the necessary approvals.
