What distinguishes MAVAG process machinery?
MAVAG Verfahrenstechnik AG was founded in 1990 and has since established itself as a specialist in the field of custom-built apparatus and process vessels for the pharmaceutical industry. In 2007, MAVAG was acquired by the now Indian conglomerate GMM Pfaudler and has operated under the name GMM Pfaudler AG ever since. The company’s headquarters in Neunkirch (Switzerland) remained unchanged.
Before the acquisition by GMM, MAVAG was primarily active in the field of vessel construction for preparation vessels, reactors, and agitator vessels, with a focus on fluid applications for pharmaceutical applications.
Today, MAVAG specializes in complex process equipment in the fields of filtration, drying, and agitation technology. Its customer base comes from the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and biotechnology sectors. More emphasis is placed on Nutsche filters and vacuum dryers, so the separation of solids and liquids is the core focus of MAVAG's product range, including for APIs, fine chemicals, or other media.
