What distinguishes MAVAG process equipment?
MAVAG Verfahrenstechnik AG was founded in 1990 and has since established itself as a specialist company in the field of customized equipment and process vessels for the pharmaceutical industry. In 2007, MAVAG was acquired by the now Indian group GMM Pfaudler and has since operated as GMM Pfaudler AG. The company headquarters in Neunkirch (Switzerland) were retained.
Before the acquisition by GMM, MAVAG was primarily active in vessel manufacturing for batching vessels, reactors, and mixing tanks. The focus was increasingly on fluid applications for pharmaceutical uses.
Today, MAVAG specializes in complex process equipment in the fields of filtration, drying, and agitation technology. Customer groups come from the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and biotechnology sectors. Compared to the company’s early years, the focus today is more on Nutsche filters and vacuum dryers. As a result, the separation of solids and liquids is a key focus of MAVAG’s product portfolio, whether for APIs, fine chemicals, or other media.
