In which Industries are RIEGER tanks commonly used?
RIEGER Behälterbau was founded in 1952 as a cooperage, which has given it a historical focus on customer groups in the juice and wine sector. Over the years, however, RIEGER has continuously expanded its product range and now manufactures tanks for breweries, winemakers, dairies, the beverage industry, and the pharmaceutical industry. For breweries, the focus is on cylindroconical fermentation tanks (CCT) and other pressurized beer tanks. The acquisition of the manufacturer GROSS Apparatebau has intensified the focus on breweries in recent years. In the field of oenology, RIEGER Behälterbau manufactures storage tanks in all types of design, as well as mash fermentation tanks, sparkling wine pressure tanks, and mixing tanks.
For dairies and the food industry, the production focus is on sterile tanks, mixing tanks, pressure tanks, as well as small and large storage tanks up to 200,000 liters. In recent years, RIEGER Behälterbau has also increasingly focused on customers in the pharmaceutical industry. The focus there is on preparation, process, and reaction vessels – often in particularly demanding designs. Through its in-house electropolishing facility, RIEGER can offer product-contact surfaces in the highest hygiene quality.
